Love these boots!

Love these boots! I normally wear a size 7.5 in women's shoes but because all the Kids leather Converse that I have purchased in the past tends to run big, I purchased a 5.5 (kids) in these. They fit perfectly and are fairly comfortable.

LOVE THE COLOR NOT THE SIZING

I really wanted to like these because the color and materials were absolutely terrific, but the "scaled down" sizing was really scaled down! Normally, I could get away with the size I ordered (6Y), but not this time. The whole boot was snug and I couldn't get the upper part to close enough - like another reviewer said, there was a gap between the ankle portion and tongue. I, sadly, had to send them back. It would be great to see this color and style available with a thicker (platformish) sole for women!

Very narrow compared to canvas

These fit more narrow in the width than canvas Converse shoes. My socks show from the front of the shoe as the tongue isn’t wide enough to cover from side to side. I hope they will stretch some over time. I think these would work better for someone with slim feet. Because my socks aren’t covered completely in the front by the tongue, I can’t see these shoes as keeping my feet warm throughout the winter, which was a reason for purchase.
